~Prologue~
In the beginning there were the deities and the goddess of fire. Fire is start and finish, life and death. The other Deities were petty and too obsessed with themselves, to pay attention to Fire. Cirrus was vain and lazy. Undine was deep and always plotting. Terrah was stubborn and childish.
Fire stood alone, quietly day dreaming one day. Why she daydreamed creature appreared. Birds filled the sky that was Cirrus's domain. Four-legged beasts and animals walked the ground of Terrah's territory. Fish filled Undine's seas, angering the deities.
Cirrus: What are these hideous things that fill my beautiful skies?
Undine: I can't breath because my oceans are filled with slimy wiggily things.
Terrah: I can't sleep from bellowing of ttose disgusting beasts.
The deities left to investigate the source of the creatures. They came upon Fire and were appalled at the sight.
Fire had created a thing that walked on two legs, had two arms, hair, clumped at the head, and thinner over the rest of it's body.
Fire created a humanoid Man.
Cirrus puked upon seeing this new thing, however nothing could have prepared the deities for what the Man did next. It spoke.
Man: Hello, what is this place? Are friends of Fire?
Cirrus: Friends?!?
Terrah: (ignoring this new abomination)Fire, what is going on here? What have you been doing polluting or worlds with these things?
Fire: I'm sorry! I didn't mean, to.
Undine: (staring at the Man) It's disgusting! Those stringy arms and legs. Puny and covered in fur. It can't survive let's put it out of it's misery and destroy it.
The Man cowered behind Fire.
Fire: Please, Don't. He is harmless. Let me keep him.
Cirrus: (sighing) Very well, we will let it live. However, It can't stay here.
The Deities banded together and created a large mud-ball for the Man to live on.
Terrah: This creature is yours to care for. If it causes trouble, you will be held responsible.
Cirrus and Terrah left, leaving Fire alone with Undine.
Undine: (sneering) and to make sure you care for this thing...
Undine waved and Fire was transformed into something almost identical to the MAN, WOMAN.
Fire: (frightened) W-what have you done?
Undine: You, will remain, with your MAN, WOMAN. To keep it from interfering with us perfect deities.
Undine left, then, causing Fire to sink to her knees, sobbing, on the ground.
The MAN, walked over, placing an arm around Fire. Fire returned to her feet, and exited into the mud-ball with the MAN, to start their 'life.'
